4. #ASSAULT: Gardaí in Cork are investigating a serious assault on a man at his house in Ballincollig, Co Cork in the early hours of this morning.

5. #SHOTS: Gardaí are also also investigating an incident in which shots were fired at a house  in Rathsallagh Park, Shankill last night.

6. #INVESTIGATORS: The Irish state hired private investigators to spy on hospital consultants as part of its efforts to thwart a massive pay claim, the Sunday Business Post has revealed.

8. #CHARITY: An animals welfare charity in Co Clare has  temporarily suspended its activities after it was targeted by an online campaign.

9. #HSE: The HSE has been accused of spy of failing to release medical records of a woman who, according to her solicitor, is dying from cervical cancer, the Sunday Independent reports.
