Aslan pay tribute to their manager and '7th member' who died yesterday

Svenn Braamark suffered a heart attack while helping his neighbour tackle a fire.

ASLAN HAVE PAID tribute to their band manager Svenn Braamark, who passed away suddenly yesterday after helping a neighbour out out a fire.

The Dublin band posted a picture of Svenn to Facebook with a message praising his hard work.

It said:

“We are devastated to announce the death of our manager and seventh member Svenn Braamark, who passed away suddenly at home in Sweden doing what he always did – helping others.

This time he was helping his neighbour tackle a fire. While doing this he suffered a massive heart attack and sadly passed away yesterday.

“Svenn was such a joy to work with and guided Aslan through all the pitfalls that the music industry holds, never giving up on any obstacle that came before us.

“He was so looking forward to our gig in the Iveagh Gardens and was always looking to bring us to the next level.

“We are lost for words as his death was so sudden and unexpected. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.”

As well as managing the Irish band, Braamark worked with the charity Cradle, which helps children in war-torn countries.
