GARDAI IN DUBLIN have seized cocaine, herbal cannabis, cash and two shotguns during search operations in the Rathfarnham area yesterday afternoon.
At around 3.40pm, gardaà searched a car and a van at an apartment complex.
They seized cocaine with an estimated street value of €280,000 and herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €275,000, pending further analysis. Two shotguns and a large quantity of ammunition were also recovered in the operation.
Two men, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested at the scene and are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Rathfarnham and Tallaght Garda Stations.
During a follow-up operation at an apartment nearby, gardaà recovered more than €100,000 in cash.
