Over €1 million worth of heroin labelled as household goods seized at Dublin Airport

The drugs were sent from Pakistan.

REVENUE OFFICERS HAVE today seized over €1 million worth of heroin in a search at Dublin Airport.

The drugs arrived on a flight at Dublin Airport in a number of packages labelled as household goods, which had originated from Lahore in Pakistan.

A spokeswoman for Revenue said: “Investigations are ongoing between Revenue’s Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Bureau.

“If you have any information about drug smuggling, contact Revenue’s Confidential Freephone 1800 295 295.”
