Biography

She was elected to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council in the 2014 local elections. A teacher by profession, she was appointed deputy leader of the Green Party in 2011. She is an active member of her local community and sits on a number of boards including the Dublin Dún Laoghaire Education Training Board.

To restore a green voice to the Dáil that will seek fair, sustainable & effective governance of our country and create new jobs in the green economy.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Investment in childcare and our current underfunded and under-resourced schools and planning ahead with a sustainable vision for all our community.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

To introduce a Bill which would, if enacted, prohibit discrimination in admissions to schools on the basis of religion or special educational needs.
