Eoghan Murphy

28-year-old Eoghan Murphy has been nominated by Fine Gael as one of the party's two candidates in Dublin South-East. He currently represents Pembroke-Rathmines in Dublin City Council having been elected on the first count in the 2009 local elections. Murphy previously worked in international arms control, including stints with the United Nations.



 

Did you know?

Upon his election, Murphy left his job as a speechwriter at the nuclear test-ban treaty commission in Vienna to work full-time as a Councillor for Dublin.
