Mike Cubbard

1
Constituency: Galway West

25-year-old Mike Cubbard is hoping to put the disappointment of the 2009 local elections behind him when he runs as an independent candidate in Galway West. On that occasion Cubbard, who was a candidate for the Galway Central ward, failed to secure enough transfers to prevent Labour from winning a second seat. He currently works in the insurance industry and is studying towards his CIP qualification.
