      Retired lecturer Denis Riordan will be contesting his 4th general election. He was unsuccessful on the 3 previous occasions. Riordan contested his first election in 1987 in the old constituency of Limerick East.



         

        Did you know?

        Riordan appeared in the high court in 2005 seeking to appear on the electoral ballot as 'Independent' instead of 'non-party'. He was unsucessful.
