Four held after €100,000 worth of cannabis seized in Cork

In the third such seizure in the area this year, Gardaí have arrested four men at a house in Cork.

FOUR MEN HAVE been arrested after around €100,000 worth of cannabis was seized at a house in Cork.

Gardaí from Macroom made the discovery during a planned search at a house in Rusheen, Macroom.

The four men, aged from their late teens to early 30s, are currently detained under Section Two of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at Bandon Garda Station.

It is the third major seizure of the drug in County Cork this year.

They can be held for up to seven days.
