DO YOU KNOW what side of the car your fuel cap is located? OK, maybe you do, but what about if you are driving a rental or a car other than your own? Here’s how to take the guesswork out of which side of the fuel pumps you should approach when pulling in to fuel up.
Take a look at the information cluster on the driver’s console. Find the fuel level indicator. See the icon of the fuel pump and the little arrow beside it? That little arrow is pointing to the side of the car where the fuel cap is located.
Not all cars have this but most modern ones do and it is a handy little thing to know.
