EVERY WEEK, WE take a look at what’s on offer around the country in a range of budgets. Here’s what your money will get you right now…
Enniskerry, Co Wicklow
Set on two acres of lush gardens, this charming five-bedroom home in Enniskerry is bursting with character. The current owners built the property in 1997 and have been living here since. There are personal touches at every turn, giving this spacious home a cosy, cottage-like feel.
A light-flooded living room overlooks the vibrant rear garden, with a kitchen/breakfast room, boot room, guest WC and office completing the living accommodation. Downstairs are four double bedrooms, and the first-floor master suite has its own bathroom and shower.
Ballyboughal, Co Dublin
This four-bedroom property at The Grange in Dublin’s Ballyboughal has been exquisitely decorated inside, giving it a show-home feel throughout. Among the many stylish features downstairs are the porcelain tiling in the kitchen and entrance hall, a high-gloss fitted kitchen, and a wall-mounted fireplace in the lounge area.
Upstairs are four bedrooms, including a large master suite with built-in wardrobes and an en suite shower room. All bedrooms feature high quality carpeting. The home is B-rated, with some of the lowest energy costs in the area, and has rooftop solar panelling. Ballyboughal is convenient to the M50, the M1 and Dublin Airport.
Blackwater, Co Wexford
Despite being part of a larger development, No 2 The Mill Race enjoys a secluded location at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, with a large garden to the front and rear. Downstairs, this family home incorporates a sitting room, a kitchen/dining room and a sun room at the rear.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, one of which is en suite, plus a family bathroom. The seaside village of Blackwater is a hub of community living in a picturesque setting, and local amenities include a primary school, convenience stores and sports clubs. You’re also just a 20-minute drive from Wexford Town, and 90 minutes from Dublin city centre.
