Mikaeel Kular's mother to appear in court today

The young boy’s mother was detained by police on Friday night before being formally charged on Saturday.

ROSDEEP KULAR, the mother of the three-year-old boy whose body was found in Fife, is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court later today, reports the BBC.

The 33-year-old mother was charged in relation to the young boy’s death after his body was found in a woods just behind a house in Kirkcaldy shortly before midnight on Friday.

Charges

It is believed the court appearance is to be held in private. The charges she faces are not yet clear.

The toddler, who is of South Asian origin, went missing from his bed on Wednesday night, sparking a major search that involved more than 200 members of the public.
