Three charged with dissident republican activity to appear in court

The men were arrested in an operation that uncovered a large amount of counterfeit cash.

THREE MEN ARRESTED on suspicion of dissident republican activity are to appear in court today.

The three were arrested on Sunday, after gardaí swooped on a house on the North Circular Road in Dublin.

Three men, aged 47, 44, 42 were arrested at the North Circular Road, Dublin and were brought to the Bridewell and Mountjoy Garda Stations.

Four houses were also searched in the north Dublin area, as well as a commercial premises in County Meath.

Those searches turned up a large sum of counterfeit money, as well as printing equipment.

Two of the men are due to appear before the Special Criminal Court at the Courts of Criminal Justice, today at 3pm. The third man will appear before the District Court.
