All seven released without charge in child sexual abuse case

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

THE FIVE MEN and two women who were arrested as gardaí investigate an alleged serious sexual assault of a young girl have been released without charge.

Five men and one woman were released early this morning and one female was released this afternoon.

All were released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The seven were arrested after an investigation into what is believed to have been the systematic abuse of a young girl.

Gardaí yesterday raided homes in Dublin and Wexford, detaining those arrested in a number of Dublin Garda stations.
