THE ARMY BOMB DISPOSAL team was called out to Swords, Co Dublin, after a man drove up to the garda station and told gardaí that there was a suspicious object under his car.
Gardaí evacuated the area and closed off some of the roads into and out of Swords while the army team examined the object.
The Defence Forces carried out a controlled explosion on the object, but said that no explosive material was discovered in it.
