THE WOMAN IN our file photo is clearly happy she’s put the heating back on.

For that matter, so’s the dog.

But many of us have been delaying the inevitable big ‘switch-on’ for the winter this year, after some unseasonably warm weather.

It looks like the fine spell might be coming to an end in the next few days – so will you be pulling out the woolies, and setting the timer for the heaters?

Is it time to start lashing on the heating? Or is it still too early?
