GARDAÍ AND THE Revenue Customs Service seized cannabis with an estimated street value of €600,000 during a search in north County Dublin yesterday.
A vehicle was stopped and searched near Man o’War by members of the organised crime bureau.
A statement from the gardaí said that the search was carried out as part of “ongoing intelligence-led investigations”.
During the search, the quantity of cannabis herb was found concealed in the vehicle.
A 34-year-old man was arrested. He is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Balbriggan Garda Station.
Investigations are ongoing.
