DETECTIVES ARE INVESTIGATING an incident in which a crossbow bolt was fired through the window of a home in Belfast.
The incident took place in the Donegall Mews area on the Donegall Road yesterday evening.
Crossbow bolt
At approximately 8.50pm a crossbow bolt was shot through the window of a flat in the area. There was a female occupant in the property at the time, but she was not in the room where the bolt targeted.
The woman was not injured in the incident and it’s believed that there is no indication as to why the attack took place.
The PSNI stated that it appears to be a random incident.
Detectives are asking for information from anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to contact CID in Musgrave on 0845 600 8000.
