Behind The Scenes

WIN: A seat for you and a friend on the Culture Night preview bus

Get to see some of the top sites before everyone else.

CULTURE NIGHT 2015 is almost here – the time of the year where you get to visit (for free) parts of your local town or city that you’d never normally get to see.

If you want to get a sneak preview of what to expect on Friday 18 September, and get a behind-the-scenes look at some of the venues before anyone else, then you’ve come to the right place.

Last year, TheJournal.ie’s Culture Night Dublin Bus preview tour brought lucky winners on a trip around the city, and this year it’s back.

On Wednesday 2 September we’ll be giving the winners an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of three locations:

  • Teeling Whiskey Distillery
  • Christchurch Cathedral
  • The Mansion House

How can you win?

The 25 winners will each get a pair of tickets, so they can bring a friend.

To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets for TheJournal.ie’s Culture Night preview Dublin Bus tour, just follow these instructions:

  • Answer the question: What date is Culture Night 2015?
  • Include these details in your entry: Name, phone number, address
  • Use the email subject line: Culture Night Preview
  • Email all these from your own email to culturenight@thejournal.ie

The tour will be provided by Dublin Bus, which is putting on free buses on Culture Night itself on four specially-designed routes.

On our preview, you’ll also be entertained during the journey, so it will be a full-on, free and fun evening of culture.

The event will include a guided tour of the newly-opened Teeling Whiskey Distillery, a tour of Mansion House, and a tour of Christchurch Cathedral – including the treasury and the spooky crypt.

Cut off point for entries is midnight on Monday 31 August. Only completed entries will be considered. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

Please make sure that you are available for our preview on the evening of 2 September, so that you don’t leave an empty seat where another TheJournal.ie reader could sit!
