Dublin Fire Brigade were called to a fire at a disused cigarette factory

And a diesel fire in Marino.

DUBLIN FIRE BRIGADE have successfully tackled a fire at a disused cigarette factory in Tallaght.

The blaze had taken hold of the former Gallaher Tobacco building on the Greenhills Road in Tallaght.

The call out required the presence of three pumps and a district officer after numerous calls to authorities.

However, the operation was wound up within an hour with the fire extinguished.

Elsewere, DFB was tackling a diesel compressor fire in Marino which saw thick black smoke spread across the north side of Dublin city.
