Biography

A left-wing political activist and anti-war campaigner, he ran for both local and national office unsuccessfully before he was elected to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council in 2009. A TD since 2011, he is a prominent figure in the anti-austerity movement and has been involved in a number of nationwide protests.

If you believe in people power to bring social & economic equality & believe the needs of people & the environment come before the profits of tiny elites.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

To provide secure, high quality social and affordable housing for all that need it & end homelessness.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Campaign to reverse all austerity measures (water charges, home taxes, pay cuts & cuts to services) that hurt the vulnerable & those on low and middle incomes.
