This driver tried to fool gardaí with a fake driver's licence - and failed

They were arrested for drink-driving.

FOR THOSE OF you who drive, you know the importance of carrying your licence at all times.

For those of you with any ounce of sense, you know the importance of having a licence in the first place.

Chalk that lesson down to experience for one driver in Limerick.

Last night the driver was pulled over for driving with their fog lights on.

When asked for their licence and insurance, they presented these:

Which didn’t fool gardaí, who arrested and charged the driver with drink driving as well as not having a licence or insurance.

They face a lengthy road ban if convicted.
