A MAN HAS died in a fire at an apartment complex for pensioners in Dublin.
The man, believed to be in his early 60s, was the sole occupant of the apartment when the fire broke out in Father Scully House at Grenville Street, close to Gardiner Street, in Dublin city centre.
Six units of the Dublin Fire Brigade, gardaí and an ambulance were called to the scene at approximately 3pm this afternoon. The fire was contained shortly afterwards.
Gardaí are not treating the fire as suspicious.
