Gary Glitter denies 10 charges of sexual offences against three girls

The 70-year-old former pop star will face trial in January.

GARY GLITTER APPEARED in court today, denying 10 charges of historical sexual offences against three girls.

The alleged crimes are said to have taken place in the 1970s and 1980s.

The 70 year old, real name Paul Gadd, listened to the proceedings today with the help of a hearing device, according to the Guardian.

He entered not guilty pleas to each of the charges, which include a count of attempted rape, a number of indecent assaults on girls under the age of 13 and plying a child with drink with the intention of ‘overpowering’ her to have sex.

Gadd was allowed to keep his bail conditions but will return to the court on 12 January for a trial expected to last three weeks.
