TWO YOUNG MEN have been arrested in Dublin overnight as the investigation into the death of 28-year-old Gerard Burnett continues.
Burnett was stabbed during an altercation outside his house in Mulhuddart last Tuesday and later died from his injuries in hospital.
It was understood that Gardaí were looking for three men who called to the victim’s house before the incident occurred. Two men – one aged 18 and the other 20 – were arrested last night.
Both are being detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under the provision of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
