THE SYDNEY OPERA House, the Colosseum in Rome, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, the fountains in London’s Trafalgar Square and the river in Chicago are all going green for St Patrick’s Day.

And you can join in the festive fun by too by turning your driveway green with one of these patriotic motors.

2018 Subaru Forester, €43,995

This automatic Subaru Forester looks fetching in its Jasmine Green Metallic paint. This is one SUV that is capable of some proper off-roading and yet it is also a great daily driver as the visibility is good all around so it is perfect for city and town driving.

Also, thanks to its high driving position and large windows parking the Forester and manoeuvring in and out of tight spaces is rather easy. Very handy if you are thinking of heading into Temple Bar.

And here is another Jasmine Green Forester only this model comes with a six-speed manual gearbox. The all-wheel drive system makes this a great SUV for those who like to get off the tarmac and it has a max braked trailer towing weight of 2,000kg. This manual version is slightly more economical to run and it has lower emissions too compared to the automatic version. That should put some pennies back in your pocket so you can actually afford a pint of Guinness in Dublin over the festive weekend.

2018 Peugeot 5008, €36,530

This handsome Peugeot 5008 comes very well specced in Allure trim and has the very clever and slick looking Peugeot i-Cockpit and configurable 12.3-inch head-up digital instrument panel. It looks really well in its Emerald Crystal coat. Sure, it’s as if that paint colour was made for our fair Isle. If St. Patrick ever needed a car, this is surely the one he would go for.
