How burglar-resistant windows work

It’s the classic image we all have of a burglar — hoodie pulled up, crowbar in hand trying to prise open a window. While this is one of the most tried-and-tested methods of breaking into a home, a burglar will find it impossible to jemmy open a Fairco window or door. Fairco’s standard window locks incorporate shootbolts, hinge-claws and upgraded defender hinges and have never been breached in a domestic situation.
