IRELAND’S PARALYMPIC ATHLETES have returned to Dublin to a rapturous reception after their historic and unprecedented success at the London Games.
With 16 medals in total won at the Games including eight gold, three silver and five bronze, the team were given a great reception upon their arrival into Dublin Airport earlier.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny will host a reception for the team at Farmleigh House on Friday while they will also be honoured by President Michael D Higgins at a reception in Áras an Uachtaráin next month.
