PHOTOS: Irish Air Corps spot whales off Galway coast

Not a bad day at the office.

THE IRISH AIR Corps spotted some whales off the Galway coast while on a routine patrol over the weekend.

The crew from 101 Surveillance and Airlift Squadron spotted the pod 120 nautical miles west of Clifden, Co Galway.

Corporal Pat O’Meara, the crew’s photographer, snapped the images.
