FINE GAEL CANDIDATE Dr James Reilly has been elected in Dublin North on the first round with 10,178 votes.
There were 49,347 valid ballots cast in the constituency, with the quota standing at 9,870.
The remaining three seats will be decided in the coming counts, with Labour candidate Brendan Ryan securing the next-highest number of votes at 9,809, followed by the Socialist Party’s Clare Daly with 7,513 votes.
The forth and final seat will be battled out between Fianna Fáil’s Michael Kennedy (3,519), Fianna Fáil’s Darragh O’Brien (4,115) and Fine Gael’s Alan Farrell (5,310).
