IDA IRELAND HAS announced the creation of 95 jobs by two client companies in the software sector in Limerick and Dublin.
US software company ACI is expanding its Irish Development Centre in Limerick with the creation of 60 new jobs while Marin Software Incorporated is to establish its International Headquarters in Dublin with the creation of 35 new jobs.
ACI’s expansion of its Limerick facility will involve the increase of its headcount in software development. Recruitment for the new jobs is already underway and details of the positions can be found on the company’s website.
The jobs in Marin’s Dublin headquarters are to be created over the next three years. The office will initially have responsibility for international finance, office administration, global customer and technical support and intends to expand to sales and IT. Initially the Headquarters will be located in Dublin 2 with the company planning a move to a larger office as growth requirements dictate.
Both investments are supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland. Minister Richard Bruton said the jobs were a major boost and in the time since the government have taken office “a total of over 11,000 additional people are at work in ICT activities”.
