Laois man dies after being struck by large fuse box at St Patrick's University Hospital

He was removed to St James’ Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A MAN HAS died following a workplace accident involving a fuse box at St Patrick’s University Hospital in Dublin.

Gardaí at Kilmainham and the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) have launched an investigation into the fatality.

The 34-year-old man was killed after being struck by a large fuse box, according to initial investigations.

The incident happened at around 7.50am yesterday morning.

He was removed to St James’ Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
