THIRTY YEARS AGO, watch manufacturer Seiko released the world’s smallest TV – in a wristwatch. The tiny black and white TV featured a 1.2” liquid crystal display.

The watch was connected to a receiver (which you could place in your bag or breast pocket) by a wire which the user concealed under their sleeve. The receiver picked up TV frequencies and FM broadcasts and the display on the wristwatch was controlled by switches and dials on the receiving unit.
