Swimmers Donncha O’Siadhail and Orla Walsh won their respective races.

SOME 400 PEOPLE battled it out in the 96th annual Dublin City Liffey Swim this afternoon, swimming 2.2km along the river in front of cheering crowds.

Donncha O’Siadhail came in first place in the men’s race with a time of 41.30 minutes, while Orla Walsh won the women’s race in 43.17 minutes.
