WHILE THE TERM ‘self-care’ has become somewhat of a buzzword of late, ultimately it boils down to simply looking after yourself, your well-being and your happiness.

Whether it’s having breakfast in silence every morning or pounding the pavement to release the day, self-care takes different forms for different people.

Considering work-related stress among employees in Ireland has doubled in recent years, according to a study by the Economic and Social Research Institute, some may say that self-care is more important than ever.
