A MAN IS up before court today charged in connection with a collision on the M50 which claimed a woman’s life.
The man, in his 30s, will appear before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court charged following a Garda investigation into a serious traffic collision on the M50 Dublin over a year ago.
Martina Loughlin, from Edenderry, Co Offaly, died after being seriously injured in a collision on in a collision on the orbital motorway a year ago.
The 47-year-old Loughlin was taken to Tallaght Hospital, where she later died.
The incident occurred when two trucks and a car collided on the M50′s southbound carriageway near junction 7, Lucan at 5.30am on Wednesday 11 November 2015.
Two male truck drivers, aged 33 and 47, were uninjured in the incident.
A Garda spokesman could not confirm to TheJournal.ie what the man in his 30s has been charged with.
