A MAN IS in a critical condition in hospital after he was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Ballymun yesterday evening.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the collision which happened just after 5.30pm yesterday evening on Coultry Road in Ballymun, north Dublin.
The 23-year-old pedestrian was taken to the Mater Hospital where his condition is described as critical but stable. The driver of the car was uninjured in the collision.
The road was closed for a short time for a forensic examination but has since been reopened.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them at Ballymun Garda station on 01 6664400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
