Man is unhappy with bill, drives truck through hotel lobby

Not a good idea.

POLICE SAY A man drove his truck through the lobby of a hotel in Oklahoma because he was unhappy about a bill.

An officer was called to the Comfort Inn & Suites in Alva to speak with a man who was angry about his hotel bill.

ABC22 reports that John Parsley (62) told the officer he had asked the manager of the hotel for a refund on two transactions on his credit card.

Hotel staff said Parsley had been rude and would not accept that the credit card was rejected, despite being issued with a void transaction receipt.

They claimed he said this wasn’t his first bad experience with a hotel manager who was Indian and told them he was going to “run his truck over them and over the property”.

The officer reportedly offered to speak to the manager to help resolve the issue, but Parsley appeared to ignore him and get into his truck.

He then drove into the lobby of the hotel. CCTV video from inside the hotel shows Parsley’s truck narrowly miss two employees at the front desk.

Parsley was arrested and taken to a local jail.
