Body of missing 51-year-old woman recovered in Kilkenny

Margaret Minogue was last seen leaving her home in Kilkenny yesterday morning.

GARDAÍ HAVE CONFIRMED that the body of missing 51-year-old Margaret Minogue has been recovered.

The Kilkenny woman had been missing since yesterday morning and earlier today gardaí appealed for assistance in tracing her.

Her body was recovered at 2.40pm and a garda spokesperson said the incident is not being treated as suspicious. Gardaí thanked the public and the media for their assistance in the matter.
