Have a Lowry Christmas

Michael Lowry has sent Tipperary a Christmas card with his name all over it

It’s a real Christmas cracker.

NO ONE CAN accuse Michael Lowry of being a Grinch this year.

The headline-friendly Tipperary TD has been wishing his constituents good tidings this holiday season while decorating a Christmas tree with some of his finer qualities.

A Christmas card sent out around his constituency wishes the people of Tipperary a merry Christmas and reminds them of why he has been a member of Dáil Éireann for almost 30 years.

Bright shining star

Deputy Lowry’s name is positioned just below the bright shining star in the tree, with other nouns and policy terms dotted amongst the tinsel and baubles.

“Committed”, “Future”, “Results” and “Kindness” are all there in gold while policy issues like “Education”, “Health”, “Security” and “Youth” are all coloured in red.

And just in case you might forget, “Lowry” is written a further four times on the tree – driving home the point that this card is, in fact, from Michael Lowry.

But like all good Christmas cards, the real substance is on the inside, with a message from Lowry to all his constituents. And, of course, there’s a picture of the man himself on the back.
