GARDAÍ HAVE APPEALED for witnesses to a fatal road collision in Co Wexford in which a motorcyclist died last week.

The man (46) was killed when his motorcycle was involved in a collision with two cars on the N11 between Wexford town and Enniscorthy shortly before 5pm last Thursday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to University Hospital Waterford.

Three other people involved in the collision, a man and a woman both in their mid 30s and a young boy, were taken to Wexford General Hospital as a precaution. No other injuries were reported.

The N11 was closed at Ballyhogue for a period of time to facilitate garda forensic collision investigators.

Gardaí have asked anyone with information, particularly those who were travelling on the N11 between Enniscorthy and Wexford town on the evening of 15 September, to contact them at Wexford Garda Station on 053 9165200, the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
