A MAN HAS died after his motorcycle collided with a barrier on the M50 in Dublin last night.
The crash occurred on the M50 northbound close to the Blanchardstown/Castleknock junction at 9.30pm yesterday.
The motorcyclist, who was in his mid 30s, was fatally injured. No other vehicles were involved.
Gardaí closed the road to facilitate a forensic collision investigation but it has since been reopened.
They are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them at Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any garda station.
