SO, RYANAIR HAS joined Twitter. The airline has never quite been renowned for its customer service and, although it’s early days, the @Ryanair account doesn’t seem to be in the mood for changing that anytime soon.
For its first tweet Ryanair managed to poke a little fun at itself, letting us know that there will be no hidden charges for followers:

Any hopes that Ryanair had perhaps gone a little soft may have been vanquished by the next tweet from however which hinted that they will not be taking any customers queries, directing users toward the online contact form:
A couple of hours after being set up the account has yet to follow anybody either so it remains to be seen how interactive @Ryanair will be.
Ryanair may be the biggest airline by passenger numbers in Europe but they have much catching up to do on twitter with competitors such as @AerLingus and @British_Airways having well maintained interactive accounts.
