Investigation launched after shot fired at a home in west Dublin last night

Gardaí are appealing for information.

GARDAÍ HAVE STARTED an investigation after a shot was fired at a house in west Dublin last night.

The incident happened in the Fernleigh Drive in Carpenterstown at around 9.45pm. Two men approached the house and one fired what is believed to be a shotgun round at the front door of the home. They then fled on a motorbike which gardaí believe to be a scrambler.

There were no injuries in the incident.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have information on the incident to contact them by calling any garda station or ringing the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.
