Spiked Christmas Bread Pudding

This twist on a classic bread and butter pudding is full of mouth-watering festive flavours. We’ve spiked our recipe with a splash of Lidl Deluxe Irish Cream Liqueur. Check out the recipe video here and read it in full below:

Serves: 4
Cook time: 30 minutes

What you’ll need

  • 1 X 250g panettone
  • 500ml custard
  • 100g white chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 100ml Deluxe Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 50g demerara sugar

What to do

  1. Cook custard as stated on pack over a gentle heat until the mixture has slightly thickened. It should lightly coat the back of a spoon. Once it has reached this point, stir through the Deluxe Irish Cream Liqueur.
  2. Butter a dish and arrange the panettone in it. Pour over the custard mixture and leave to soak for at least 2 hours. When ready to bake, sprinkle over the demerara sugar.
  3. Preheat oven to 180. Pop in the baking dish on the middle rack. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
