THE FAMILY OF Conley Thompson have celebrated his life with a superhero-themed funeral in Yorkshire.
The seven-year-old failed to come home on Sunday 26 July after telling his mother he was going out to play with friends.
His body was discovered in a pipe on a nearby building site the following day.
Hundreds of mourners attended his funeral today.
According to the UK Independent, Reverend Trevor Keightley described Conley as a “loveable rogue” who loved climbing and music.
His grandmother described him “a lovely little lad”, adding: “His smile could light up a room.”
He would have turned eight years old yesterday.
