ARE YOU READY to feel all the feelings?
Ahead of Mother’s Day on Sunday, some of Temple Street’s little patients told us why they love their mammies.
Temple Street says that the messages bring home how important parents are, especially when children are sick.
The children talk about the hugs, the kisses, the chicken dinners, as well as the more serious challenges they face with becoming accustomed to trips to a hospital at such young ages.
Here are some of our favourite moments.
“She’s funny and I like her hair. She does everything.”
“She gives me chicken and potatoes and corn. I really, really like her.
“My mum has the best kisses.”
My mum’s been there through all the struggles, all the hard times up here. All the waiting, all the new journeys that we have to take.

Now, we’re off to call our mams.
