Two teenagers die after collision with a tanker in Omagh

Police in Omagh are appealing for any witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on Saturday to contact them.

POLICE IN OMAGH, Co Tyrone, are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal road traffic accident involving a car and a tanker in the area on Saturday.

Two teenagers died in the incident, which occurred on the Termon Road near Pomeroy at around 12.15pm.

One of the victims has been named by police as 16-year-old Lisa O’Donnell from the Loughmacrory area. The family of the second victim, an 18-year-old male, has asked for his name not to be released at this time.

Investigating officers have asked for anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information to contact police in Omagh on 0845 600 8000.
