WHILE THE BOYS in Green on the pitch were outclassed by the World Champions in Gdansk tonight, off the pitch the boys and girls in green were in full voice throughout.
The story of the night was not so much that a far superior team – the best in the world – beat one of limited ability but that even as the lesser team was being outpassed and outclassed, their supporters in the stand never stopped singing.
