Cloud At Last

It's going to get warm - but not sunny

Please come back, sun.

THE WARM WEATHER will make a comeback today – but will be accompanied by cloud and rain.

Met Éireann says that today will reach up to 22 degrees, but while it will be humid, it will not be sunny.

“Cloudy this morning and well into the afternoon with scattered outbreaks of rain, heavy in places. Clearer weather with sunny spells will gradually spread from the west later. Mild, humid and breezy with highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees.”

Tonight will be dry, but will be cool, with temperatures of eight to 11 degrees.

Tomorrow will be largely similar to today, with “a mix of cloud and sunny breaks, the best of these in the east”.

Tomorrow will also see outbreaks of rain developing in the southwest, west and northwest in the late afternoon and evening.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Met Éireann says that it could be thundery.

“At the moment, it looks like the weekend will bring some decent dry spells with some warm sunshine. However, spells of heavy or thundery rain will spread from the south at times.”
